What is the DMI Children’s Foundation?
The DMI Children’s Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) Therapy accessible to every child, everywhere. They assist families experiencing financial and geographic barriers by:
- Funding therapy intensives for families
- Providing scholarships for therapists
- Supporting mission trips to underserved communities
- Helping equip therapists with the tools they need to deliver life-changing care
Every program is built around one belief: every child deserves the opportunity to reach their fullest potential.
What is DMI Therapy?
Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) is an evidence-informed therapeutic approach used by trained pediatric physical and occupational therapists to help children improve strength, balance, coordination, postural control, and functional movement. It supports children with a wide range of diagnoses including cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, brain injuries, genetic conditions, and other motor delays.
